🔍 Filters & Search

Tap the ▾ button to show or hide the filter bar.
Filter by category (brewery, winery, playground…), status, or kids-friendly.
Search searches names, notes, addresses, and tags.
Tap ↺ Reset to clear all active filters.

📍 Near Me

Tap 📍 Near Me to show only pins within a chosen radius of your location.
Tap ✕ Off or reset filters to turn it off.

➕ Adding Places

Tap the blue + button to add a pin manually.
Type an address — it geocodes automatically.
Use 📥 Import to import from a CSV spreadsheet.

One-time import of ~9,200 US breweries from Open Brewery DB (free, no API key needed). Already-imported breweries are skipped automatically.

📁 Migrate Pin Collections

One-time: assigns all pins that don't have a collection to "Family Trip Pins". Safe to run multiple times — only affects pins with no collection set.

👨‍👩‍👦 Migrate to Family Path

One-time: copies all pins from your personal Firestore path (users/{your uid}) to the shared family path (families/folsom). Run once per family member who has existing data, then update Firestore security rules as described in CLAUDE.md.
